The Bernard L. Samson Nursing Center provides complete residential healthcare services to the elderly, allowing virtually full privacy for all its residents. Its services include rehabilitation with physical, occupational and speech therapy, assistance with activities of daily living, extensive 24-hour nursing care, medical specialties, a comprehensive dementia program, skin and wound care, dental, optometric and podiatric services, behavioral specialists and family-centered care planning.
Full-time registered dietitians complement an outstanding Kosher dining service, and there is an extensive program of recreational and therapeutic activities. Religious programming includes a full time Chaplain, weekly and holiday services conducted in our own synagogue, cultural activities and volunteers from area synagogues. Social work, community education, family support, a large contingent of volunteers and other outreach programs help carry out the nursing center’s philosophy of remaining close to its community and families.
